UCSI University has released its 2019 Trust Scholarship Awards & Education Grant for SPM 2018 students to apply using their SPM Trial Results. UEC, STPM, O-Levels & A-Levels students may apply for the scholarships as well.

UCSI University Trust Scholarship 2019

The UCSI University Trust Scholarship is offered to Malaysian students who demonstrate outstanding academic achievements leaderships attributes and participate actively in extracurricular activities and community involvements.

The scholarship is opened to students who enrolled in any of the foundation programmes or any diploma or any degree programmes at UCSI University and UCSI College.

This scholarship award offers full (Malaysian only) or partial tuition fee waiver throughout the student’s undergraduate study period at UCSI University.

Criteria
Applicants must meet the following minimum academic requirements:

IGCSE O-Level 8A*/As in the relevant subjects, including English Language ** Refer to the table below
STPM CGPA ≥ 3.80, with relevant subjects taken into consideration CGPA ≥ 3.50, with relevants subjects taken into consideration
A-Levels AAA in the relevant subjects ABB in the relevant subjects
Malaysian MOHE Matriculation CGPA ≥ 3.80, with relevant subjects taken into consideration CGPA ≥ 3.50, with relevants subjects taken into consideration
UEC 8 As in the relevant subjects including English Language 5 As in the relevant subjects
SAM / CPU Aggregate ≥ 90% Aggregate ≥ 85%
Diploma CGPA ≥ 3.80 CGPA ≥ 3.50
IB ≥ 40 ≥ 36
Foundation CGPA ≥ 3.80 CGPA ≥ 3.50

Or any other equivalent qualifications

Music Scholarship Award
• Musical achievements in instrumental or vocal performance.
• Applicants must attend a compulsory scholarship audition.
*If an applicant possesses outstanding music talent, lower grades may be considered.

UCSI UNIVERSITY TRUST EDUCATION GRANT 2019

Offered to Malaysian new intake students to pursue foundation study leading to degree
programme or diploma programme at UCSI College & UCSI University.
This education grant is offered to Malaysian new intake students of September 2018 intakes to pursue foundation study leading to degree programme, diploma programme or degree programme at UCSI College & University. (EXCEPT for Medicine and Pharmacy programmes).

ELIGIBILITY/CRITERIA 

This education grant provides partial tuition fee waiver for the candidates who demonstrate good academic achievements and active participation in extracurricular activities. The education grant entitlement corresponds to the academic achievements obtained. Tuition fee waiver is to be granted accordingly for Diploma Year 1, Degree Year 1, Foundation and/or Degree Year 1.

*For music programme, If an applicant possesses outstanding music talent and achievements, lower grades may be considered.

UCSI UNIVERSITY TRUST A-LEVEL SCHOLARSHIP

Full or partial tuition fee waivers for the Cambridge GCE A-Level programme at UCSI.

This Scholarship is offered to new intake students pursuing Cambridge GCE A-Levels programme conducted by UCSI College. It is open to those who obtain at least 5As in the SPM or 3As IGCSE O-Level Examination taken in year 2017.

Scholarship entitlement corresponds to the number of As achieved in the relevant subject.

* The scholarship amount will be disbursed equally over 3 semesters of the study.

UCSI UNIVERSITY TRUST SPORTS BURSARY

Full or partial tuition fee waivers for national or state athletes from Malaysia.

UCSI University Trust Sports Bursary is open to any Malaysian state or national athlete who enrolled in any of the foundation programmes (leading to a degree) or diploma or any degree programmes at UCSI University.

Successful state athlete applicants will be awarded a partial tuition fee waiver while national athlete applicants will receive a full tuition fee waiver for undergraduate study period at UCSI University.

Applicants must be State or National Athletes verified by the National Sports Council of Malaysia and the respective Sports Association.

State Athlete A player who represents the state in sports at the national level games/ sports/events
National Athlete A player who represents the country in sports at the regional and international level games/sports/events
