How to defer the Malaysian PLKN or National Service for study in university?

Defer PLKN or National Service (NS) in Malaysia

Students selected for the Malaysian National Service or PLKN can defer or postpone the PLKN if they want to start their

university studies first. You will need to download the Borang Penangguhan from the PLKN website, fill up and submit together with the Letter of Offer from the university to defer your National Service.

Upon completion of your studies, you have to go for the National Service.

Manakala bagi calon pelatih yang tidak dapat mengikuti PLKN kerana sebab-sebab di bawah perlulah mengisi borang-borang seperti berikut:-

SEBAB BORANG YANG PERLU DIISI
Bakal menduduki peperiksaan utama  Borang Permohonan Bagi Perakuan Penangguhan (Borang 1)dan dilampirkan dengan dokumen yang lengkap iaitu:-

  1. Surat Pengesahan rasmi daripada pihak sekolah ATAU Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia

 

 
Sedang meneruskan pengajian

  1. Institusi Pengajian Tinggi Awam (IPTA)
  1. Institusi Pengajian Tinggi Swasta (IPTS)
 Borang Permohonan Bagi Perakuan Penangguhan (Borang 1)dan dilampirkan dengan dokumen yang lengkap iaitu:-

  1. Salinan surat tawaran belajar daripada institusi yang dinyatakan tempoh pengajian  ATAU
  2. Surat rasmi mengesahkan bahawa pemohon sedang menghadiri kursus (nyatakan tempoh pengajian) daripada institusi pengajian tinggi.
  1. Salinan surat tawaran belajar daripada institusi pengajian yang dinyatakan tempoh pengajian, DAN
  2. Salinan resit pembayaran yuran pengajian (TERKINI) yang telah dibayar (Sekurang-kurangnya ½ daripada jumlah yuran sebenar), ATAU
  3. Salinan surat tawaran biasiswa, ATAU
  4. Surat rasmi mengesahkan bahawa pemohon sedang menghadiri kursus (nyatakan tempoh pengajian) daripada institusi pengajian tinggi.
Mengalami kesusahan luar  biasa
  1. Sedang hamil
    • Surat pengesahan rasmi daripada doktor kerajaan.
  2. Lain-lain kesusahan luar biasa
    • Surat sokongan yang jelas menyatakan kesusahan yang dialami oleh pelatih daripada Pesuruhjaya Sumpah, Mejistret, Penghulu, Penggawa, Tok Sidang, Jaksa Pendamai, Komandan atau Pengetua Sekolah. DAN
    • Salinan dokumen sokongan.
