Studying the Diploma in Communication at HELP University

HELP University’s Diploma in Communication will see students developing their skills in communication, writing, broadcasting, new media, digital photography and public speaking.
In addition, students will be involved in many project-based activities such as press conferences, fund-raising projects and community projects. This forms part of the learning process with practical, hands-on experience.
Upon completion of the Diploma in Communication, students are able to enter into Year 2 of the following degree programmes:
- Bachelor of Communication (Hons) (Media Studies)
- Bachelor of Communication (Hons) (Marketing Communication)
- Bachelor of Communication (Hons) (Public Relations)
Entry Requirements for the Diploma in Communication at HELP University
Applicants must have one of the following entry requirements:
- A pass in SPM or its equivalent, with a minimum of 3 credits in any subject, including English; or
- 3 IGCSE/O-Level credits (including English) or 3 Bs (including English) in Senior Middle Three (UEC) or equivalent
- A pass in STPM or its equivalent, with a min Grade C in any subject
- A Certificate in Media or Communication or its equivalent

The UniTunes@HELP broadcast station delivers programs via live streaming on the HELP website. Students can engage in live talk shows as hosts, or as DJs on music programs, or as music performers.
