Certificate in Information & Communication Technology Course Information at APIIT for Secondary School Leavers with at least 1 credit

Students with SPM/IGCSE/O-Levels/UEC 1 or 2 credits including Maths and passes in BM and Sejarah, and are interested in pursuing further studies in computing may go for the Certificate in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) at APIIT . The duration of the course is 16 months. When you complete the certificate course, you are able to enter into the Diploma in Information & Communication Technology programme at Asia Pacific University (APU).
A credit in SPM is a “C” and a pass is a “D” or “E”. A credit in UEC is a “B” while the “C” are just passes.
The Certificate in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) course at APIIT is recognised and accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). ENTRY REQUIREMENTS for the Certificate in Information & Communication Technology at APIIT or Asia Pacific University
- 1 Grade C pass in SPM and a pass in Bahasa Malaysia, Mathematics and Sejarah (History).
- 1 Grade B pass in UEC and a pass in Bahasa Malaysia and Mathematics.
- 1 Grade c pass in ‘O’ Level/GCSE and a pass in Mathematics.
- A qualification that the Malaysian Government accept as equivalent to the above.

Upon successful completion of this programme, you will be eligible to progress into any of the following Diploma programmes offered at Asia Pacific University:

Note: Students who have successfully completed the Certificate Programme may be allowed to transfer credits into the respective Diploma Programmes and as a result may be allowed to commence the Diploma directly from semester two.
