Industry Placement is a period of employment in an establishment to enhance your skills and experience and provide opportunities for the application of theory to the world of work.

Students are given information about the workplace and briefed for the interview. SHTCA will try to provide you with a suitable place according to your selection criteria. However, the school does not guarantee a place of your choice for industry placement nor any particular position during your industry placement. In the event your selection criteria do not match up with the list, SHTCA reserve the right to place you in any alternative establishment.

During your internship in Malaysia, SHTCA staff member will visit you to ensure that you are happy with the progress of your training and to help with any problems you may have encountered. For overseas internships, SHTCA will maintain regular contact with you and your employer to ensure that your experience lives up to your expectations.
