The BA (Hons) Psychology degree programme at UCSI University is constructed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills, which will assist them to achieve healthy adjustments in their social existence and occupational well-being. This degree programme exhibits two major features; namely, a balanced course exposure and three Co-Operative Placements through workplace experience.

UCSI University psychology students will be exposed to learning abstract fundamentals in the discipline of Psychology, and also applied Psychology (eg. Industrial & Organizational, Educational, Clinical) to gain a taste of their practical values in social and community services.

This comprehensive training will enable UCSI University students to derive a rudimentary understanding

of the social reality of workplace environments in the larger society outside. Students will develop considerable self-confidence in meeting challenges coming their way upon graduation.

Upon completion of the degree, UCSI graduates may continue on to the Master of Child Psychology. To work in the psychology field in Malaysia, one needs at least a Masters qualification.

Completing two months’ work experience for every study year, a UCSI University student would have six to eight months’ work experience to stand ready for full-time employment upon their graduation.

State-of-the-Art Facilities at UCSI University

Situated on a 19-acre piece of land, the Campus is located in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur with convenient

access to numerous facilities including banks, restaurants, transportation services, entertainment, and accommodation. Fully wireless, it is equipped with the latest cutting-edge technology to access the world of e-learning and e-resources.

Housing 7 different blocks, the Campus includes the Student Centre (Menara Gading), the Resource Centre, the Academic Blocks and Residential Halls to comfortably accommodate a student population of more than 15000.
