While the 2018 QS World Subject Ranking for Hospitality & Leisure saw the Taylor’s University School of Hospitality and Tourism and School of Culinary Arts move up from Number 29 to 21, another important finding from QS was that the university has been ranked for the first time in the QS Top 500 for Social Sciences and Management.
This broader category not only covers hospitality and tourism, but also other related academic courses offered by the Taylor’s Business School, the School of Education, the School of Communication, the Taylor’s Law School as well as the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
As Professor Perry Hobson, the Pro Vice-Chancellor for Global Engagement pointed out, “it is believed that there are some 11,000 universities and higher education institutions in Asia, and well over 25,000+ worldwide.
