Taylor’s University School of Engineering attained yet another commendable achievement in obtaining five years accreditation from The Board of Engineers Malaysia for its Electrical & Electronic Engineering and Mechanical Engineering programmes’ second cycle of accreditations, making it one of the few, and the youngest engineering schools/faculties in the country where all of its engineering programmes have received the maximum 5-years accreditations with interim.

5-year BEM Accreditation for Taylor’s University Engineering Courses

Since its establishment in 1996, Taylor’s School of Engineering has set the benchmark for engineering education and served as a role model for other institutions within the region. It is the first engineering school in Southeast Asia to adopt the CDIOTM initiative, enabling Taylor’s to apply this approach to create engineers who are able to meet the real-world demand of their profession and become innovators in providing solutions for the betterment of humankind. It is also the first university out of North America to be recognised by the National Academy of Engineering, USA, with the Grand Challenge Scholars Program.
