Taylor’s University  kicks off the QS World University Rankings 2021 series with an outstanding performance as the university climbed 135 spots, to rank 379 globally. The university is now placed amongst the top flight of universities in the world, making it the top Malaysian private university, according to the QS world rankings report.

In addition, Taylor’s is also now ranked Top 100 in Asia the QS Asia University Rankings 2021.

Earlier this year, Taylor’s University  retained its Top 20 world ranking for the fiercely contested Hospitality and Leisure Management subject in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2020, making it the only university in Malaysia to be in the Top 20 ranking. The university is also currently ranked 109th in the QS Asia University Rankings 2020.

Taylor’s University Vice Chancellor and President Professor Michael Driscoll takes the latest global achievements as a vote of confidence in the teaching and learning strategy that Taylor’s University is pursuing.

Taylor’s University continues to break barriers as the institution is now ranked 89 in Asia according to the latest QS Asia University Rankings 2021 exercise. Rising 90 ranks since 2016, the University made positive strides in Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Internationalisation and Faculty – Student ratio.

Taylor’s University Vice Chancellor and President, Professor Michael Driscoll shared that the institution was anticipating this achievement following an outstanding year in various QS rankings exercises. Taylor’s University kicked off 2020 by attaining the top private university in Malaysia and Southeast Asia position in the QS World University Rankings 2021. Following that, the institution broke into the QS Top 50 Under 50 2021, making it the only Malaysian private university to be ranked within the coveted Top 50 Under 50. The achievements are the results of a massive team effort at Taylor’s and close engagement with industry partners.
