The 3-year Diploma in Interior Design programme at Taylor’s University is designed to prepare students to create functional and dynamic interior spaces; public places, homes or offices. Students after SPM or O-Levels with at least 3 credits including the relevant subjects may enter Taylor’s University Diploma in Interior Design for 3 years and then enter Year 2 of the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Interior Architecture. Alternatively, with at least 5 credits including the relevant subjects may enter Taylor’s University Foundation in Design for 1 year before continuing on to the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Interior Architecture. Students who are unsure of design as a career path may go for the Foundation in Arts at Taylor’s University and then enter the Interior Architecture degree.

The Diploma in Interior Design programme at Taylor’s University is designed to prepare students to create functional and dynamic interior spaces; public places, homes or offices. Taylor’s design students will develop an understanding of principles and practice of contemporary construction technology, and be instilled with capabilities such as space planning, creative problem-solving, communication and understanding of design issues. The interior design programme at Taylor’s University includes a 3-month industrial training locally or abroad which will enable them to redefine and create dynamic and contemporary interior spaces for a variety of requirements.
Intakes for the Diploma in Interior Design at Taylor’s University are in March & August of each year. Upon completion of the Diploma in Interior Design, students may continue on to Year 2 of the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Interior Architecture at Taylor’s.
