Steps on How to Get the SPM Trial Results Online
To register at a private university in Malaysia for the early intake, you will need the following documents:
- Copy of IC
- Copy of SPM Trial Results
Some of you may have forgotten to bring your results when you go to the private university in Malaysia to register or haven’t gone to your school to obtain the SPM Trial Results. Don’t worry, you can click on the link to the SAPS NKRA website to look at your SPM Trial Results and print them out to be used for the application.
Parents or SPM students can Click on this link to go to SAPS NKRA to Check your SPM Trial Results Online. Once clicked, you will reach the screen below:
- At the screen above, follow the instructions below to obtain your SPM Trial Results Online
- Type in your child’s Identity Card (IC) or Birth Certificate number.
- Click the radio button to select ‘sekolah menengah’ secondary school)
- At the “TAHUN” row click — ‘Pilih Tahun’ — , and choose the year of the results you want to see.
After all that, then click ‘Semak Laporan’.
- Next, parents or SPM students choose the “Peperiksaan Percubaan SPM” which is your “SPM Trial Examination Results”. And then click ‘papar slip keputusan’ which will enable you to see results slip for the SPM Trial Examination as shown in Sample 1
When you click on ‘Papar Markah Peperiksaan’, you will be able to see your SPM Trial Results as well as the other examinations held throughout the year. Look at Sample 2

Finally, print out the SPM Trial Results and then use that to register at the private college or university in Malaysia for the January intake. The SPM Trial Results may be used to apply for scholarships from top private universities for the January intake as well.

SPM graduates are able to save time by starting their course early at top private universities by using the SPM Trial results. You can go for the Foundation, A-Levels or AUSMAT Pre-University (Pre-U) programmes and get a head start in the competitive job market.
Students will be able to secure scholarships using their trial results at some private universities. PTPTN Loan is not available for Foundation or Pre-U courses so you might as well start your studies early and not waste time.
