Entry requirements into the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) programme at UCSI University

A-Levels

3B or 2A1C or 1A1B1C in Biology and Chemistry and Physics or Maths with “B” in Chemistry. Malaysian students must pass Bahasa Melayu and English with Grade C in SPM or equivalent.

(With reference to the Score system of the Universities and Colleges Admission Service (UCAS) carried out at United Kingdom for A-level result with score of A+ = 140, A=120, B=100 and C=80)

  • 3B proposed by LFM is equal to the total score of 300 with B for Chemistry subject.

STPM

CGPA 3.00 and above with ‘B’ in Chemistry.

  • Malaysian students must pass Bahasa Melayu and English with Grade C in SPM or equivalent.
  • Must have a minimum Band 4 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET)

This is ONLY applicable to those who are completing the entire degree in IMU, Malaysia. Please contact Admissions Office for further details or to register for the test.All registered students are required to take the IMU Diagnostic Language Test during the first semester.
Please refer to the University for any variation on entry requirement.Chemistry is compulsory.All qualifications should include 3 out of 4 science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics).
NOTE
Please note that IMU does not accept any foundation courses from other colleges/universities for its medical, dentistry and pharmacy programmes except foundation in science by KBU International College. Additionally, foundation in science qualification from other colleges and universities will be considered on a case by case basis for admission into medicine, dentistry and pharmacy programme. Students without IELTS or MUET can opt to sit for the Password English Test which is available only in IMU and must obtain the equivalent score required for IELTS.
