- Pass with min. CGPA 3.00 including B in Chemistry
- Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)
- Min. CGPA 3.00 with grade BBB / ABC / AAC in Biology, Chemistry and Physics / Mathematics with min. B in Chemistry
- Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
- Pass with min. 5Bs. Min with B4 (70%) in Chemistry and Biology, and B5 (65%) in Mathematics / Physics
- A Levels
- Min. ABC / BBB / AAC in Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics / Physics with min. B in Chemistry
- South Australian Matriculation (SAM)/SACE International
- Min. ATAR 75 including B in Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics / Physics
- Canadian Pre-University (CPU)

NOTE:
Students with the following entry qualifications are required to meet certain SPM pre-requisites:
- Diploma in Science/Pharmacy
- Matriculation in Science
- Pre-Medical studies or Pre-Pharmacy
- Foundation in Science
The SPM pre-requisites are as follows:
- A pass in SPM / O Level or equivalent with 5Bs each in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics / Additional Mathematics and another subject. SPM students will also need to attain a pass in History.
- Malaysian students are required to attain a credit in Bahasa Melayu and English.
- The minimum entry requirements may be subject to changes to meet the requirements of the Malaysian Pharmacy Board.
English Requirements
Overall band score of 5.5 in IELTS
Those who opt for the overseas option must achieve an overall band score of 7.0
Effective from 2014, those who opt for the overseas option must achieve an overall band score of 7.0 (Not less than 7.0 for individual bands)
Please refer to the University for any variation on entry requirement.Chemistry is compulsory.All qualifications should include 3 out of 4 science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics).
Students without IELTS or MUET can opt to sit for the Password English Test which is available only in IMU and must obtain the equivalent score required for IELTS. Students who have successfully enrolled using the Password English Test are still required to sit for MUET and (or) IELTS exam within the first year of their studies in IMU. This is ONLY applicable to those who are completing the entire degree in IMU, Malaysia. Please contact Admission Office for further details or to register for the test.
