Intakes

Main intakes for the Diploma in Hotel Management at YTL-ICHM are in February, May, August,  and October of each year.

Preparatory intakes are in April and July.

What is the Education Pathway for the Diploma in Pastry & Baking at YTL-ICHM?

Students will need at least 3 credits in SPM or IGCSE/O-Levels to join the 2.5-year diploma. UEC students with at least 3B’s may join the Diploma as well.

Upon completion of the Diploma, graduates are guaranteed a job at one of YTL’s hotels and resorts.

Alternatively, students may transfer to another private university to enter Year 2 of the related degree or complete the degree in only 1 year overseas.

What are the Entry Requirements?

SPM

• Pass in SPM with a minimum of 3 credits in any subject, with a pass in Bahasa Melayu & Sejarah or its equivalent

UEC

• A minimum of 3Bs in any subject

IGCSE/O-LEVEL

• A minimum of 3 credits in any subject, or its equivalent

SKM/CERTIFICATE

• Pass in SKM Level 3/Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in a related field or its equivalent

Recognition and Accreditation

YTL-ICHM is approved by the Ministry of Education to offer diploma programmes that are recognised and accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)

In partnership with Swiss Hotel Management School (SHMS), students will complete the syllabus provided at YTL-ICHM and shall be awarded the YTL-ICHM Diploma in Pastry & Baking together with the Swiss International Hospitality Certificate in Hotel Management upon completion.
