In partnership with Swiss Hotel Management School (SHMS), students will complete the syllabus provided at YTL-ICHM and shall be awarded the YTL-ICHM Diploma in Hotel Management together with the Swiss International Hospitality Certificate in Hotel Management upon completion.

Education Pathway for the Diploma in Hotel Management at YTL-ICHM

Students will need at least 3 credits in SPM or IGCSE/O-Levels to join the 2.5-year diploma. UEC students with at least 3B’s may join the Diploma as well.

Upon completion of the Diploma, graduates are guaranteed a job at one of YTL’s hotels and resorts.

Alternatively, students may transfer to another private university to enter Year 2 of the related degree or complete the degree in only 1 year overseas.

• Pass in SPM with a minimum of 3 credits in any subject, with a pass in Bahasa Melayu & Sejarah or its equivalent

UEC

• A minimum of 3Bs in any subject

IGCSE/O-LEVEL

• Pass in SKM Level 3/Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in a related field or its equivalent
