SPM or IGCSE/O-Levels Entry Requirements for Diploma in Interior Architecture Design
Interior Architecture explores the link between the interior and architecture where interior spaces are inhabited and experienced as works of art that are rich in spatial investigations and interventions. The interior architecture programme embarks on a revitalisation and enrichment journey through the development of design, conceptual creativity, theory and philosophy of spaces to create exciting and practical environments in which people live, work and play.
Students after SPM or O-Levels who are sure of pursuing a career in interior architecture can go for the Diploma course for 2.5 years before entering into Year 2 of the Interior Architecture degree. Students must meet the minimum entry requirements to enter the diploma programme at top private universities in Malaysia.
Entry Requirements for Diploma in Interior Architecture
- Students after SPM or O-Levels should have at least 3 credits including a pass in BM & Sejarah. A credit is at least a “C”. Anything below a “C” is not a credit.
- UEC students from Chinese Independent High Schools in Malaysia must have a minimum grade ‘B’ for 3 subjects.
- Students who have taken the Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) will need to have Passed SKM/SKK level 3 in related field AND *Pass SPM with minimum 1 credit in SPM.
